Canadian omnichannel technology and e-commerce solutions provider WPIC Marketing + Technologies establishes a Japanese subsidiary.

Leveraging the strengths of its Western leadership and Asian operations, Canadian consultancy WPIC Marketing + Technologies facilitates the generation of online revenue for global brands in China and Japan through data analysis, e-commerce solutions and essential support services.

By analyzing robust data derived from China’s leading e-commerce marketplaces, search engines and social media platforms—including Tmall, Taobao, Baidu, WeChat and Weibo—WPIC optimizes omnichannel strategies, behavioral targeting and digital branding and marketing to help companies experience growth through market entry and expanded operations in the Asia-Pacific.

The company’s knowledge, built on the analysis of China’s consumption trends, can be an invaluable enabler for Japanese organizations endeavoring to further develop their business in the Asia-Pacific market.

To capture growing customer demand and unlock opportunities for Japanese organizations throughout the Asia-Pacific, WPIC established WPIC Technology Japan GK in Tokyo in April 2019, followed by a new office in Osaka in December. It will utilize the Osaka base in conducting service, maintenance and R&D.

To assist with the establishment of the company’s base in Japan, the JETRO Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC Osaka) provided consultation on company registration, business licenses and visa acquisition, and introduced local service providers.
